A Match Made in Vermont
WhistlePig Whiskey (Shoreham, VT)
Just 60 miles south of Runamok’s barrel-aging room in Fairfax, Vermont lies the home of the world’s most awarded rye whiskey distillers, WhistlePig Whiskey, on a 500-acre farm in Shoreham, Vermont. Whether it is a beautiful coincidence that both companies set up roots in such close proximity or a fate predetermined by the culinary gods, as two Vermont companies with a shared passion for quality and innovation, we knew the collaboration was destined to be a hit.
Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea Co. (Waterbury, VT)
With a team of coffee experts right in our backyard, we knew we had to call on the folks at Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea Co. to source the perfect beans to pair with our premium maple. Using their carefully-sourced, organic coffee beans, our Coffee Infused Maple Syrup pairs two bold flavors with excellent results.
Wood-Fired Producers (statewide)
We produce our own maple syrup but even with our 120,000 taps, we do not make enough for our needs. We’ve always worked closely with producer partners across the state to ensure our supply. Sugarmaker’s Dark Wood-Fired Maple Syrup takes it a step further, partnering with smaller sugarmakers who still produce maple syrup “the old fashioned way”, using wood to fire their evaporators. Not only are we proud to share this traditional method of sugarmaking, but the slower evaporation time and open flame brings out different characteristics in the syrup, resulting in our boldest maple yet.
