Quick and simple to make ahead, these overnight oats are the perfect healthy breakfast or afternoon snack to keep you fueled throughout the week. This recipe makes one jar, but we recommend making multiple jars, as they keep well in the refrigerator for several days. When ready to enjoy, just grab a jar and mix and match flavors and toppings – keep the whole family happy by letting everyone customize their own!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 3/4 c milk

  • 2 tbsp Runamok maple syrup (we love using Cinnamon + Vanilla)

  • Toppings of choice: banana, cocoa nibs, granola, nuts, berries, peaches, Runamok maple syrup, and more…

Instructions

  • 1 In a 16oz. mason jar, or similar sized container, mix the rolled oats and chia seeds.
  • 2 Add milk and maple syrup to your oats and seeds.
  • 3 Add lid and shake the jar well to combine.
  • 4 Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results. The overnight oats will last in the refrigerator up to 4 or 5 days.
  • 5 When ready to enjoy, remove from fridge (you can enjoy the cold, or heat in the microwave). Add topping of choice – like granola, nuts, berries, sliced fruit, nut butters, seeds, yogurt, and lots of maple syrup.
