We currently have an opening in our Finance Department for an Accounting Assistant at our Fairfax facility. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, who is organized and adapts well to a fast paced environment.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Provide administrative help for human resources and payroll 
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and records
  • Post daily bank deposits and reconcile cash accounts
  • Maintain vendor records, process accounts payable and ensure timely payments
  • Maintain customer ledgers, invoicing and monthly bank statements
  • Work with internal team to record timely credit card transactions and monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end closing process
  • Research, track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
  • Comply with GAAP principles

Skills and Abilities:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or proven work experience in Accounting
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and GAAP
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Have the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Positive professional attitude
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize effectively
  • Experience working with integrated ERP systems is a plus

Wholesale Customer Support Specialist

Our Wholesale Customer Support Specialist is responsible for supporting and assisting the Sales Team to increase sales of new and existing business for our Runamok Maple, Wild Four and Private Label product groups. Based at our location in Fairfax, Vt our customer support specialist is available M-F from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to all inbound phone calls and email requests that come from our wholesale customers and prospects.
  • Respond to forwarded emails from our Customer Champion for Wholesale issues only
  • Process incoming sales orders in the DEAR order entry system and follow through with customers, brokers and sales managers on product availability and shipping details.
  • Process new orders and post order activity to our Pipedrive (CRM) and Scorecard revenue tracking spreadsheet.
  • Establish Wholesale customer payment type: CC for independent accounts or Net terms application for large customers. Communicate credit card details to Accounting.
  • Track Wholesale ground or freight deliveries and remedy any Damages/Loss/Returns reports and service complaints. Maintain a complaint log for Wholesale orders.
  • Manage customer complaints and provide solutions to problems, (i.e. incorrect items received, damaged shipment, shipping costs, shelf life etc.)

Wholesale Sample Requests

  • Process sample requests and capture leads in Pipedrive for customers in all channels.
  • Process sample requests for Press and Collaborations, entering order in DEAR. Track through delivery.

Wholesale Customer Retention & Prospecting

  • Daily telemarketing to targeted retailers based on order frequency, new product introductions and any Wholesale promotional activity to improve sales revenue and customer retention rate.
  • Follow up on trade show leads follow in coordination with sales managers. Qualify leads and inquiries, tracking progress in Pipedrive.
  • Assist sales managers with keeping Pipedrive up to date with all identifying information so that our Eblast and Lookbook mailing lists are accurate and reflect the Account Types.

Drop Ship and EDI Sales

  • Act as primary contact for Drop Ship customer portals and order transmissions.
  • Process new orders and pack list in DEAR. Enter tracking number in portal and advance order to invoice.
  • Process new orders and post order activity to our Pipedrive (CRM) and Scorecard revenue tracking spreadsheet.

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • BA or equivalent experience ideal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years customer service or sales experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods market
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer/technology skills, specifically the Google Suite of applications

Production Line Technician

The Production Line Technician position is responsible for providing support for quick line changeovers and fast troubleshooting of mechanical breakdowns. The position also may provide training to line operators to help improve production efficiencies while focusing on increased production times and increased throughput.

  • 3-5 years experience with bottle filling, caping, labeling, pumps
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability, and experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics

Sugarhouse Mechanic

The mechanic position is best suited for someone who is a self-starter and very organized. The position requires a person to be very flexible. You will be on call during the sugaring season, which can be very busy. At times you may even be asked to help in the woods. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who possesses a wide variety of skills and loves variation in a job.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance, diagnoses, and repair of generators, small equipment, ATVs, and UTVS. Performs rebuilds on engines, drive trains or components, and equipment
  • Provides training for personnel on the safe use of the above equipment
  • Has prior sugaring experience with Reverse Osmosis machines, Variable Frequency Drives, and Vacuum pumps
  • Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues
  • Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform management of any issues
  • Prepare quotes and work estimates as needed
  • Keep an accurate log of all work performed
  • Maintain and clean equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition
  • Adhere to strict company work safety policies
  • Sound problem-solving skills
  • Willing and able to pivot to different task throughout the day
  • Read and comprehend blueprints, diagrams and schematics
  • Performs on-site maintenance and repair to equipment in the field, as required

Requirements and Desires Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years training at a technical school is preferred
  • A valid Driver’s license is required
  • Wilderness First Responder Certification is preferred
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline small engines and generators is required or three years’ experience in maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline small engines and generators
  • Experience in snowmobile or ATV maintenance and repair and/or maintenance of tracked vehicles
  • Previous cold weather experience is preferred
  • Must be willing and able to lift and move items, parts, assemblies and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum
  • Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors
