Champagne is always sparking, but we’ve given it some extra shine with a hit of Sparkle Syrup and a dash of Floral Bitters for a luxurious and festive addition to any party.
An orange-based old fashioned cocktail featuring Runamok’s Maple Old Fashioned Cocktail Mixer. The perfect cocktail to up your Vitamin C levels during the depths of winter.
Our friend Rob makes excellent non-alcoholic cocktails. At Rob and Martha’s Easter party, I was lucky to try his latest which includes unsweetened cranberry juice, grapefruit, and maple syrup topped with a bit of seltzer. It was tart and refreshing but not puckery and most certainly not a kiddie drink. When asked if I could list it as an official Runamok recipe and he graciously gave me the nod.
Emily Morton, owner of The 126 in Burlington, has been helping us develop recipes for our maple-based cocktail mixers and bitters. Emily won Vermont Bartender of the Year 2019 and is a devotee of cocktail history, so we knew she would be the perfect person to come up with some great hot toddy recipes. This one – with Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Maple and a good hit of citrus – is among our favorites.
Chai (aka masala chai) is that milky, sweet, mildly spicy tea you can find in Indian and South Asian restaurants. The spice mixture varies as much as any curry blend, but the one spice that is dominant and ever-present is cardamom. The other spices include cinnamon, clove, fennel, black pepper, and ginger. We’ve combined these warming spices of our infused maples along with hot coca for an ultra cozy, cold-weather beverage. For a similar flavor without the chocolate, check out our Cheater’s Chai.
This cranberry apple sangria recipe makes for an exceptionally festive batch cocktail, perfect for any holiday party or brunch gathering. The addition of our Pumpkin Spice Maple Syrup or Festivus Infused Maple Syrup – with notes of cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, nutmeg, and clove – adds a cozy spice to the citrusy, earthy, tart, and balanced sipper. A must-try this season!
This is an alcoholic punch meant for a cheerful holiday party. The pomegranate juice gives it a festive red color and some nice acidity but it is the Cinnamon + Vanilla Infused Maple Syrup that makes it taste like Christmas. There is something about the maple and cinnamon combination that evokes images of cozy winter mornings and jolly men dressed in red suits.
