The Maple Blossom is a refreshing summer cocktail by Jamie Monteiro, the head bartender at Mama’s VT in Ludlow.
Jamie said her inspiration for the drink came from, “Springtime in Vermont. Flowing maple lines, the excitement of first blossoms and the rebirth of floral aromas.”
Using Stonecutter Spirits Gin, grapefruit juice and Runamok’s Jasmine Infused Maple, this seems to us the perfect lakeside drink.
- 2 oz Stonecutter Spirits Single Barrel Gin
- ¾ oz grapefruit juice
- ¼ oz lime juice
- ¼ oz Runamok Jasmine Tea Infused Maple Syrup
- 1 bar spoon Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- 3 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
Circle rim of a glass with grapefruit peel. Combine all ingredients into shaker. Shake over ice and double strain into glass. Garnish with grapefruit peel rose on toothpick
