Runamok’s Peppermint Bark Maple Syrup is so good in hot cocoa, it’s like it was made for it. The maple gives a caramel sweetness, the cocoa nibs boost the chocolate richness, and the peppermint is bright and seasonal. We have given you a basic recipe below for scratch-made (i.e. using unsweetened cocoa and real milk) but you can tweak it in any way you like. Want it sweeter? Add the extra granulated sugar. Want to bump up the chocolate? Use a little more cocoa. You can always add more Pepermint Bark but keep in mind that will increase the minty-ness. Your cocoa, your call.
