Jack Rose is a classic cocktail that first appeared in the early 20th century. It peaked in popularity in the 1920s with mentions in Ernest Hemingway’s “The Sun Also Rises,” and was reportedly a favorite of John Steinbeck. Made with Applejack, a traditional apple-based brandy, grenadine for sweetness, and fresh lime juice for a tangy kick, this cocktail strikes a balance between sweet and tart with a strong apple backbone. The addition of our maple-based Grenadine syrup pays homage to quintessential flavors of Vermont in a cocktail.
