This is a twist on an Old Fashioned using Irish Whiskey in place of Bourbon. Our Lemon Verbena Honey makes for the perfect sweetener but our classic Beekeeper’s Cut, Knotweed, or High Plains Clover would also be great.
An Old Fashioned made with Irish Whiskey and a touch of honey.
Irish Old Fashioned
Prep Time: < 5 minutes
Servings: 1 drink
Ingredients
1 tsp Runamok Lemon Verbena Honey
1 tsp hot water
1 1/2 oz Irish Whiskey
2 dashes Runamok Orange Bitters
1 lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions
- 1 Combine honey and hot water and stir to dissolve. Set aside to cool.
- 2 In a rocks glass, pour the honey syrup, whiskey, and bitters together over ice and stir.
- 3 Add a twist of lemon for garnish and serve.
