This is a classic combination of tart blueberries and sweet peach all brought together with yogurt and maple syrup. Adding ice will ensure the smoothie is crisp and cold but also dilutes it a little so adding it is up to you.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen sliced peaches

  • ⅓ cup plain yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • Several ice cubes (optional)

  • 2 Tbsp Runamok Sugarmaker’s Cut Pure Maple, Rum Barrel-Aged, or Vanilla Bean Infused Maple

  • a few slices of banana (optional)

Instructions

  • 1 Put the blueberries, peaches, yogurt, lemon juice, and ice (if you are using) in a blender and puree until smooth.
  • 2 Add the maple syrup of your choice a spoonful at a time and taste.
  • 3 Pour into tall glasses, top with a few slices of banana (optional) and serve.
