Front Desk & Customer Service Representative

Location: Fairfax, VT (on site)

The Opportunity

You’ll be the face and voice of Runamok at our headquarters. If you love helping people, keeping a day humming, and turning small moments into great brand experiences, this is your seat. You’ll welcome visitors, guide calls and emails to the right place, smooth out order questions, and keep our front office running like a well-oiled machine—so the whole company can win.

What you’ll do

  • Be the first hello: greet visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries with warmth and precision.

  • Offer tastings to walk‑in customers and share product knowledge so visitors leave excited and informed.

  • Triage customer messages (phone + inbox) and resolve questions; route the complex ones quickly.

  • Support order fixes and follow-ups (replacements, shipping/tracking details, simple returns) with Sales, E‑Comm, and Shipping.

  • Provide assistance to our Wholesale Support Specialist—covering order entry and portal tasks as needed (PO confirmations, basic invoice follow-ups)—to keep wholesale orders accurate and on time.

  • Keep the lobby and front desk tidy, stocked, and on‑brand; manage visitor sign‑ins.

  • Coordinate internal odds-and-ends: mail, supplies, office updates, and light admin that helps teams move faster.

  • Pitch in as an integral part of the team during promotions, gifting, and peak seasons; help us shine when it’s busiest.

  • Be the hub—coordinate between departments, share updates, and keep the Runamok culture strong and connected.

  • Jump in where needed to help the team shine.

What you bring

  • 1–3+ years in customer service, front desk, or office coordinator roles (CPG/food or manufacturing is a plus).

  • Clear, friendly communication—on the phone and in writing.

  • Stellar organization and attention to detail; you keep plates spinning without dropping the smile.

  • Tech savvy, comfortable with Google Workspace and picking up new systems (CRM, order tools, customer service software, etc.).

  • Calm under pressure and cool with seasonal fluctuations when needed.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time, on-site (Mon–Fri)

  • Competitive hourly pay; medical coverage, IRA contributions, and CTO
