Combining bourbon and amaro, this cocktail is similar to a Busted Pipe or Paper Plane. The Vanilla Bean Infused Maple adds just the right amount of sweetness, with the vanilla drawing out the oak in the bourbon.

Instructions

  1. Add thyme and bitters to cocktail shaker and muddle.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to shaker.
  3. Shake with ice.
  4. Double strain into a double old-fashioned glass with a large, square ice cube.
  5. Garnish with a lime zest and a sprig of fresh thyme.
