Your Privacy Choices

When you visit runamokmaple.com, we and our advertising partners (Google and Meta) collect information about your visit through cookies and similar technologies, and use it to show you Runamok ads on other websites and apps. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.

Under the privacy laws of several U.S. states, that activity may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as "targeted advertising," and residents of those states have the right to opt out. This page is where you do that.

If you see an "Opt out" button below

You're visiting from a state whose law gives you this right. Click Opt out and this browser on this device will be opted out. If you also want us to stop sharing data tied to your customer account (not just this browser), check the box and enter the email address you use with us.

A few honest details about how it works:

  • The opt-out is stored in a cookie in this browser. If you clear your cookies, switch browsers, or use another device, you'll need to opt out again there.
  • It stops the advertising sharing. It doesn't unsubscribe you from our emails (use the unsubscribe link in any email for that) and it doesn't affect your orders or account.
  • We don't ask you to verify your identity to opt out, and we won't treat you differently because you did.

If you don't see a button

Our store shows the opt-out control to visitors from states whose laws provide this right, based on your approximate location. If you live in one of those states and the button isn't showing (a VPN or a travel connection can cause this), email info@runamokmaple.com with "Opt out" in the subject line and we'll take care of it within 15 business days.

If you live somewhere without this right yet, you can still limit advertising cookies through your browser settings, the cookie banner where it appears, Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com), and Meta's ad preferences (facebook.com/ads/preferences). Vermont's own privacy law takes effect January 1, 2028; we'll honor opt-outs from Vermont residents before then.
