Strawberry Maple Granita

This is a recipe from our friend, Mary Jarvas that uses very simple ingredients for an outsized result. Just blend fresh strawberries with maple syrup and freeze. Enjoy it as a refreshing snack in the heat of summer or as a light dessert.
Mary writes, “This is a very forgiving recipe. If you don‘t have the patience to freeze and repeat it is possible to freeze the mixture completely and then scrape it just once with a fork (more muscle needed!)”
