Maple London Fog

Recipe By: Laura Sorkin

A traditional London Fog uses Earl Grey tea, milk, vanilla, and a sweetener. It was not a giant leap to substitute in our Vanilla Bean Infused Maple, combining both the sweetener and the vanilla in a single, high-quality syrup. If you’ve never tried a London Fog before, this version will make you a convert.

Ingredients

1 bag of Earl Grey Tea

½ cup hot water

⅓ - ½ cup milk of your choice

1 - 2 tsp Runamok Vanilla Bean Maple

Instructions

Brew a cup of tea by placing bag in a mug and pouring roughly ½ cup boiling water over it. Let it steep for 3 - 5 minutes, depending on desired strength. Remove the tea bag.

Heat milk in a small saucepan until it just starts to foam but don’t let it boil. Turn off the heat and pour it into the tea.

Add Runamok Vanilla Bean Maple (or Sugarmaker’s Cut pure maple) and stir. Taste for additional syrup.
