Sweet Iced Tea

A warm-weather staple, keeping a jug of sweet tea in the fridge for drop-in guests is summertime hospitality 101. We love how versatile and refreshing this drink can be, and how many opportunities there are for mixing and matching with our raw and infused honey varieties!

The unmistakable floral notes of Beekeeper’s Cut [1] are highlighted in a green or white tea. Florida Orange Blossom [2] brings undertones of citrus. High Plains Clover [3] is the best version of a classic sugary-sweet honey flavor. Our Hibiscus Flower Infused Honey [4] brings a tart pop to a strong black tea, while Lemon Verbena Infused Honey [5] adds earthy and herbal notes. Try it with any number of our all-natural sweeteners, add your favorite garnish, and enjoy.

Boil 8 cups of water on the stove. Turn off heat and add tea bags – you can tie the strings together for easy removal. Allow to steep for 5 minutes, or longer for a stronger brew. Add honey (if using raw honey, wait until the tea has cooled to a lukewarm temperature before adding honey to avoid killing off the beneficial enzymes). Once tea has cooled to room temperature, store in the fridge. Serve over ice with garnish. Enjoy!
