We love an Old Fashioned, but it often feels like a cold-weather drink. Enter – peaches. Or really any summer stone fruit. This is so simple and so delicious on a balmy summer day.We’ve offered Runamok Cocktail Syrups for a few years now because they do such a good job at creating delicious, all natural flavor infusions. Enjoy the smoked version [2] or regular [3], depending on your preference. Hello campfire vibes!
Makes 1 drink
Ingredients:
- 1/2 part Runamok Maple Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup [3] or Runamok Smoked Maple Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup [2]
- 1/2 ripe fresh peach, pitted and cubed
- 4-5 part whiskey
- Ice
- Orange twist and cherry for garnish (optional)
Muddle the peach and cocktail syrup in a short glass. Add whiskey and stir. Add ice, stir again, and serve with orange twist and cherry.
