The Hubby has been gone for almost ten days on One Lap of America so I have been home taking care of our new puppy, Cleveland. I had no idea how exhausting a puppy can be! From the minute he wakes up to the minute he goes to sleep, he is a constant ball of energy with razor-sharp teeth. Fortunately, I’ve had help from my stepson or I think I may have gone insane. Don’t get me wrong. I adore our puppy and am enjoying getting to know him, but it’s like having a toddler that doesn’t nap. The Hubby comes home tomorrow, and I will be so happy to see him. I will be even happier to hand Cleveland over for a few moments so I can have a bit of peace. It’s a good thing Cleveland is adorable. I need a drink. Cheers! 🥃🐕🐾

1/2oz Toasted Orange Peel Simple Syrup
1/2oz Runamok Vermont Saffron Honey Syrup
3 Dashes Peychauds Bitters
Snifter Glass from Hither Lane
Middleton Mixology Smoke Top Smoker
Add ingredients to mixing glass. Add ice. Stir for 30 seconds. Strain into snifter. Smoke cocktail to taste – I like a Smokey drink, but you do you. No garnish. Find a quiet place and sip slow.
